About Us

Our Beliefs

“Citizens by birth or choice of a common country, that country has a right to concentrate your affections. The name of American, which belongs to you, in your national capacity, must always exalt the just pride of Patriotism, more than any appellation derived from local discriminations.”

George Washington, President of the United States of America

Chain Bridge

Chain Bridge embodies our great nation, always moving forward while building upon our past. Over 225 years, no fewer than eight bridges have been built across this part of the Potomac, serving as a trade passage, an escape route, a Civil War battle line, and a great fishing spot. The first bridge was built in 1797 and the current bridge was built in 1939 on the original stone piers of its 19th century predecessors before being rebuilt in 1982. And strong to this day.
